Auxiliary Meetings 2nd Thursday each month at 7:30pm

We are still collecting box tops and labels for local schools, and Bra’s for homeless women. We also are collecting old cell phones to be recycled, the money earned will be used to buy pre-paid phone cards for our serving Military. E-Mail is easy and cheap but there’s no substitute for hearing the voice of a loved one. If you have any of these items to donate, please leave them in the members lounge. Mark you donation “for the Auxiliary”, or better yet, bring them to an Auxiliary meeting held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm. We really appreciate all your support, THANK YOU!

On the 1st and 3rd Tuesday night each month, in the members lounge, come and play Trivia hosted by the SAL’s and the Auxiliary. You can have a lot of fun and exercise your brain. On the 1st and 3rd Friday each month, “Dinner is served with a Movie.” In the members lounge. Toni Wigham will continue to collect clothes to take to the Veterans Hospital in Menlo Park, so clean out your closet and bring the clothes you no longer wear to the Post, Mark your donation, “for Toni’s Vets.”

1st Vick Julie Keller has the 2011 membership cards, once you’ve paid your dues for 2011, she will send you your card. We have signed up 20 new members this past year. Welcome ladies!

On November 1, 2010 we will have collection barrels in the members lounge, one for food (if you want to start donating non-perishable food now you can bring them to Trivia Night or Dinner and a movie night, to be donated to Second harvest Food Bank), and there will be a barrel for new, unwrapped toys for the San Jose Veterans Center’s Christmas party for local Military Children. If we all give a little we can meet big needs.
