Do not send your dues to the address posted on the renewal notice. All dues need to be sent to UNIT 99 at the Post, 1344 Dell Avenue, Campbell, CA 95008 or come in and pay in person.
It is time for the Nominating Committee to bring in the names of Auxiliary members who would like to serve the coming year. The President, First Vice, Secretary and Treasurer will not be running for office for 2008/2009.
April 4th. Mark your calendar! Start time-7:30pm enjoy a great night of casino play, spaghetti dinner, and raffles. Call Dee in the office at 379-6420 for more information.
I hear the Valentine's dinner was great fun; good food and conversation. Great job to all who helped put it together.
Toni has again done a great job getting the poppies ready for delivery. Memorial Day is right around the corner. Our Post hosts and participates in many functions on that day.
It has been suggested that our Unit put out their own Newsletter three times a year. It would contain all the opportunities available for you to volunteer supporting our community. If this is something that would interest you please come to the next membership meeting and voice your opinion.
Another BBQ for the veterans at the Menlo Park Veteran’s Hospital is planned for May. We would like you to come and feel the joy of preparing food, serving and chatting with the service men and women who have not fared as well as others. Just seeing the joy on their faces is worth the good feelings you will receive. Contact Toni Wigham, 2nd Vice, for more information. |
