Auxiliary Meetings 2nd Thursday each month at 7:30pm

I hope all of you had a Happy Easter. I was unable to attend the Easter egg hunt in the lounge, but the feedback I got tells me everyone had a good time. Thank you to Diana Lane for the planning and execution of the event. We have some other events coming up that you might want to put on your calendar. May 16th is the Veteran’s BBQ, ask Toni Wiggums how you can help or what you can donate. She and others at our Post work very hard to put the BBQ together and she can always use help in one form or the other. On Memorial Day, the lounge will be hosting an open house for the Post. If not before, that is always a good time to bring in potential members for the Legion, Auxiliary and Sons of the Legion and it’s always been a fun time. Keep your eyes and ears open other events coming that I haven’t listed. I know their will be a Mother’s Day dinner, but we are unsure of the date.

It’s that time of year to elect new officers. If you know anybody who might be interested in running for office, please contact me with names.

If you haven’t sent in your dues for 2009, please send them now.
