SUPPORT OUR TROOPS

Hello Friend of the Troops,
We started off our holiday drive, Operation: Season's Greetings 2004, with a bang! We have now shipped about 52,000 pounds of care packages to the Troops, and the community is really coming through for us in a big way. Thank you to all that have worked so hard to keep this program going. Without your support, this program could not continue.

Today, several of us were at Moffet Field for the Military Family Day. SO MANY folks walked up to thank us for our program. Many had actually received our care packages, and told us how much our support meant to them. We are making a difference! Another email received recently:

We, the Belleau Wood team, have been so grateful for all of your support and 'goodies' that we have shared with numerous Sailors, Marines and Coasties.!!! It is now time for us to turn over this joy of giving and sharing to the USS ESSEX. The Command Chaplain (Chaplain G) is most aware and looking forward to the boxes we received yesterday. They are going to her on this day! She is so grateful and looks forward to carrying on this opportunity of joy and love to many more Sailors, Marines, and Coasties!!!

Blessings, Chaplain Mc
